The Apple 13" 2.0ghz Macbook is a great portable laptop for on-the-go college students. And at a decent price, it is worth picking up. Included is 1 gig of RAM, and an 80GB Harddrive.I own both a Macbook and a Macbook Pro and in all honesty, unless you are using pro-level programs or are a gamer hands down the Macbook is the best value. It is a great machine for word processing, checking e-mail, watching DVDs, and surfing the internet.Aesthetically, the Macbook uses a hard plastic. It has a slot-loading Combo drive that lets you play DVD. It includes 2 USB ports, a firewire port, and a magnetic latching device. The keyboard is very nice to use. Overall I would highly recommend a Macbook for anyone looking to get into the world of macs. Although it won't be the most powerful, it is a great device that does all the basic computer needs very effectively.
