Apple 60GB Ipod

I have own this Ipod for several years now and it just keeps on trucking. I keep it in my truck always connected to an Alpine stereo that controls it completely through the on screen menus. I mostly listen to podcast and music. Battery life has not been an issue because its always connected and charging. It might be time to upgrade to the next bigger size because its full and now and when I want more music on it I have to remove something else. I was thinking about getting an 80GB one because Ive heard the 160GB Ipods dont have as good of a sound output, they use a different processor. One negative is that with having 60 gigs loaded on it, it takes about 30 minute just to sync up which seems like an unusually long time. Overall a quality MP3 player.
