I purchased the iphone this past January. I am really impressed with the iphone and all of its features. The iphone has a big screen so it makes things on the screen are easy to read. It is also a touch screen. Another cool feature is that it is blue tooth capable. The battery in these phones when fully charged lasts almost ten hours. The bad thing about these batteries is that if they go bad they are costly to fix. When getting a cell phone plan I reccomend buying the insurance plan. The phones are very costly if they need to be fixed or replaced. I would also suggest buying a protective cover for your iphone because of the fragile screen that it does have. These phones need constant cleaning because of all the touching on the screen. You have to use special clothes and chemicals to clean the screen because certain materials and chemicals can damage it. The iphone is also a ipod it can hold lots of music. You can also download games from the app store. The best part about this is there are alot of fun games you can download for free. Some of the games you have to pay for. I usuallyget the free ones because they are just as good as the paid games.Playing the games can give you something to do when you are board.I am also am happy to say that the iphone also has wifi capablity. Which means you can get on the internet anywhere there is wifi. You may have heard about the iphone and thatis not able to recieve picture messages. There is some good news now the iphone is now able to accept them now. I am very happy with the iphone and all its features. This phone is very high tech and has so many possibilities with this phone. This phone is a very good investment.
Hi - We have the first generation iphones and love them! I had a problem when they came out with the 3.0 update. My phone ran hot, didn't hold a charge and neither Apple or AT&T could help. I did get a replacement SIM card, but that didn't help. When the next update came out, my phone was fixed - even though it took two months and Apple never admitted it had found a fix for the previous update. We are looking forward to getting the 3G one day, as our two year contract ends in February and since the prices have come down drastically, we'd like to upgrade. Oh - we use the matte finish screen protector on our phones. You still need to wipe the screen, but nothing like when you leave it unprotected and I am sure that film also protects the screen when you drop it. I tried the mirrored file but hated it. You can't see the screen in bright lights, so I switched back to the matte. My hubby has dropped his phone quite a bit and it's scary. Even though we have cases from Apple, the phone always falls screen down. :) It really is a great phone!
