This iPod has been trouble for me since day one. To start things off here, I must mention that I DO know what I'm doing when it comes to putting music on an MP3 player, and that I do understand things when it comes to computers.

Straight out of the box, this thing was a pain. Getting it to connect via Firewire was an hour long job, something that should have taken no time at all.

Fast forward a while, and the battery life just started shrinking. It got to the point where I couldn't listen to more than 1 song it it was unplugged from the charger.

More recently, I had it connected to an iPod alarm clock... up until it stopped playing. Then I reset it manually and all I got was a "clicking" sound as it tried to boot up. I've heard of other people having this before, and they had to replace the harddrive.

So now I'm in the market for a new MP3 player, and I'm not so sure it's gonna be an iPod.
