I've had this ipod mini for 3 years now and it still works great. I don't use my ipod on battery a lot, I basically use it as a giant pen drive to take my songs with me wherever I go. Battery life is getting worse though, I'd say it lasts 2 hours and takes much longer to charge than it used to. And that's after following all the proper rules on how to charge your ipod and how to drain the battery. That's the only con for me on this device. I've dropped it a few times and it hasn't caused any problems. The sound quality is only as good as your headphones. Mine holds 794 songs right now. This model has no color and no images. It supports MP3, WMA and AAC formats. It came with a belt clip, which is awesome and I still use it to this day. At the time I thought this was a tiny little mp3 player but have to admit it does look bulky next to an ipod shuffle! My ipod mini has served me well. Probably will always keep it as a backup for all my songs if I get a newer model. A nice antique for the grandkids, lol.
