The Apple iPod shuffle is a great portable mp3 player for people who want something super small, lightweight and simple. This is the 2nd generation model of the iPod shuffle and has 1 GB, which holds approximately 250 songs. It comes with earbuds and a PC-chargeable battery.

I use this iPod for when I exercise. Because of it's small size, it's perfect for any kind of workout. You just clip it on to your clothing, like the waistband on your shorts, and you're ready to go. The buttons are very easy to use, so you can skip songs or adjust the volume with ease during your workout. It does not have a screen on it like the original iPod, so some people might miss that feature, but I don't mind it at all.

You add and edit your song playlist using the iTunes program on your computer, where you can add your own files from your CD collection or buy songs from the iTunes store. I have had a few problems using iTunes. One being that my entire playlist somehow got deleted. While that was frustrating, it was easy to fix since the iPod shuffle doesn't hold a ton of songs.

Overall, I would recommend the Apple iPod shuffle for someone who wants a small and lightweight mp3 player, which is especially great for exercise.
