I am absolutely in love with my pink ipod shuffle.

When the ipods first came out I received the originial shuffle and enjoyed it but it is nothing when compared to the latest model. The latest version is smaller, more visually appealing, and contains more storage space. In short it is a true upgrade.

The Apple iPod Shuffle can store up to 1GB worth of music (about 240 songs) and comes in five different colors. I, of course, chose pink because I am a pink fanatic but you can choose blue, grean, grey, and red if pink isn't your thing. This latest ipod is charged using a dock that is attached to the ipod's headphone outlet where the originial ipod shuffle could be plugged directly into the usb drive.

I am not the biggest fan of the dock (it can get in the way) but apple does sell alternative charging usb cords and travel chargers. You must still download iTunes in order to add music to your shuffle but the latest version of iTunes converts a variety of music formats to make them compatible with the ipod and you can choose from a huge selection of audiobooks and music from the iTunes store. The ipod earbuds are some of the best I have ever encountered and the ipod shuffles sound quality is amazing. I recommend this ipod to all first time MP3 owners/buyers.
