I bought this iPod Touch about a year back and so far I've loved it. I've had no problems with it. The Apple headphones it comes with provide stupendous sound quality. I was actually able to go and buy some headphones seperate that come with a microphone (very small) and a remote. One thing I have noticed is how great it is with being roughed up. I have literally whipped this iPod at the ground (accidentally), and it has been fine. The apps that come with the iPod are very handy at times (Safari, Calendar, Mail, Contacts, etc.). The app store provides many great tools and games for the go. One thing I am not that happy with is how strong the WiFi connection is. With my laptop, I have been outside and used the internet throught WiFi no problem. Unfortunately, that doen't work for me with this iPod. It uses a G network adapter and an N one is much better. This is probably because N is a newer technology. The video quality on this iPod is pretty good. The only problem I have is that the sound on my video is not loud enough without headphones. The touch screen is great and adds many functionalities in music and video. With a normal iPod, you only have 5 buttons and a scroll wheel. I definitely recommend buying the iPod Touch 2G.
