Apple Mac Book Pro By 4tyGames on - Updated Sep 18, 2011
I bought my Apple MacBook Pro in June 2006. After my purchase, ever so randomly, my computer would crash hard demanding to be reset. After three trips to the Apple Store where the employees believed that I was crying wolf, the system crashed hard during a reinstallation of the operating system. My computer was shipped to the Apple Repair Center in Houston, TX. A few days later I receive a call from customer service saying that my computer screen is broken (it was fine before the Apple Store shipped it) and that it would cost me $1200 because it is not covered by AppleCare. I was shocked. I am just a college student that cannot afford a $1200 screen. I could easily buy another laptop with that money. After two hours on the phone with customer service, Apple finally agreed that the broken computer screen was their fault and that they would fix it. When I got my computer back, the service repair notice showed that they basically rebuilt my entire computer. Since the ordeal, my Mac has given me no troubles and runs great on both Mac OSX and Windows XP. It is a great all around laptop that takes pretty much anything that I throw at it. It is also the best looking laptop out of almost all computer manufacturers. The slim and stylish aluminum casing can get hot at times, but this is not really a major problem. Now is probably the best time to buy one since Apple has had almost two years to work out any problems.
