Apple MacBook Pro

The Apple MacBook Pro 17" is the first Apple computer I have ever owned. After seeing the success and the ease of use with the Apple iPods I decided it was time to make the jump into a Macintosh computer. The first thing that sticks out right away is the hardware and how sleek and sexy it look. Only 1" thick and nothing protruding from the basic design of it, the MacBook is easily the best looking laptop available. The keyboard on the MacBook Pro is much better than the simplier MacBook laptop, and it has backlighting for those late night papers to write. The 17" screen provieds a 1680x1050 resolution, however no resolution is big enough. The more recent MacBook Pro 17" gives the opportunity to expand the resolution even more. The 160GB hard drive is good enough for a laptop, and one can simply hook up an external drive to provide more space. This model of MacBook Pro allows up to 3GB of RAM to always have the computer running smoothly and quickly. Even based solely on the hardware, it is easy to see why somebody would want to bite the bullet and spend the high pricepoint to get a MacBook Pro.
