Aqua Bomb Away!
By Chocollette onI grew up with the Slinky (remember the catchy tune "a Slinky, a Slinky fun for a girl and a boyl!")and throughout the years, they have expanded their line of toys and Poofs fall under the Slinky brand umbrella.
Poofs are balls made out of sponge and or foam and they do come in a variety of shapes and sizes. The particular Poof that we have is called the Aqua Bomb and it provides hours of fun for children and adults. We have named our Aqua Bomb "Dude" as he is purple , has a goofy smile, and has the biggest white eyes!During the fall and winter, we play with "Dude" indoors as a regular ball but in the summer, watch out because "Dude" comes to life when we goes outside!
Once you immerse the Aqua Bomb in water and throw it, prepare to be drenched! For a four inch ball, this certainly soaks in a lot of water and the spray radius is pretty long the harder your throw it.
We received our Poofs as gifts but they start around $4.49 for a set of two. This is an inexpensive way to have summertime fun-especially if you do not have access to a swimming pool!

Oh we need to have one of these this summer. How fun is this! Like throwing water balloons without the mess! I bet this is very refreshing in the hot summer. Where do I find some?
Thanks Chocolette! I've never seen these anywhere. I know the boys would love slamming each other with these during our hot long summers.
These are a lot of fun. There are other generic brands too. I just saw some at the dollar store the other day (off brand ones and smaller).
I've never heard of this. It sounds like fun and cheap too.
Cheap, fun water toys that will keep the kids busy during the summer.... Priceless!
This sounds like so much fun! Thanks for sharing!
My son has one Aqua Bomb he got last summer. I think I will be getting a couple more this summer so we can all have fun with them
I want one just to throw at my nephews and my niece (I'm such a nice aunt ;) ) This sounds like a great outdoor summer toy that will get the kids out of the house. And nice that you can use it indoors, well, without the water LOL!
This does sound like fun even for adults. I loved my slinky! My kids think I was crazy but I loved it and I still remember the jingle. Thanks for the trip down memory lane!
