Aqua Globes, Who Would Have Thought It?

Reviewing: Aqua Globes Low Maintenance Watering System
Purchased at: Wal Mart

Last week I had a birthday.A couple of my friends invited me over. They sung happy birthday and gave me a few gifts.

One of the things I got, was a box of two Aqua Globes. They heard my daughter and I talk about the commercial and how we wanted some.

I opened the box and seen they are prettier in person than they are on TV.

These are hand crafted blown glass.

THEY ARE SO PRETTY.

The directions say to get something a little bigger than the opening of the tube and stick in the dirt first. That way the dirt want get in the tube and stop it up.

I used a handle of a wooden spoon and it was perfect.

I thought that they should have put a stick in the box, for this purpose. And that's just because, when I heard that, I thought,"I don't know what to use".

It also states that the stick can't be to big or system will not work right. It was like a guessing game if you have the right size stick, or what ever you used.

You just fill up the tube with water.Stick it in the dirt, slanted, and that's it.

They look really good sitting in my potted plants.I would recommend this to anyone who have plants, loves pretty things, and who don't have time to water or just forgets like me.

Oh, I choice this category because it was the closest thing to watering plants that I seen.

These are lovely! Using a wooden spoon was a great idea - I'm sure that was the perfect size. How often do you have to refill the water globe?

I have not had them long enough to refill yet, but its close to empty. So, I would say a week to a week and a half. I think it has alot the do with the plant you use it for, because one of them is sucking up the water faster than the other.

What a neat product! We're always worrying about what to do about the plants when we go on vacation - now there's a cheap solution!

I've seen the informercials for these and was quite impressed - pretty & functional! I had no idea they were available at Walmart tho! Thanks so much for the info.
