AquaGlow Underwater Light Show- A Burnout!
By Jeanette Dusci onFirst of all, a warning...do not buy this poorly made product! Last summer,I puchased this as a gift for a friend with a pool. We are neighbors and best friends and so my family spends a lot of time at their pool. I saw this underwater light show in Target for $19.99, and thought it looked fun. It is supposed to float around in the pool and send out different colored light patterns that will reflect throughout the pool in the evening time. It takes three AA batteries. I figured the kids would get a big kick out of it. The first time we used it, it worked for about five minutes. Then, water got in it somehow and it just turned off. Well, in my opinion a pool accessory should be waterproof. Apparently, this one is not because I exchanged it for a new one and got the same result with the second one. They need to check into the durability of this product and I ultimately returned it for a refund.

This is something that I never heard of but when I read what it was supposed to do it sounds really cool. I can see why you wanted to purchase it in the first place but I'm sorry to hear it did not work as it should have.
Thanks for the honest information. This is one pool product I will be staying away from.
Boy I was hoping this worked. It sound really cool, even if your not swimming but just for light effect in your pool Thanks for the heads up.
It sounds like a neat idea but a horribly made product. I agree a pool toy should be able to go in the water and the battery area should be waterproof! Thank you for warning others about this. Sounds like the makers need to go back to the drawing board.
My neighbors had this or something very similar. It had an outdoor pool display of shimmering dancing lights in their pool at night. They looked awesome:) Maybe yours was part of a defective batch?
Interesting idea that sounds like a lot of fun, especially for pool play at night. Too bad it just didn't work.
sounds like a fun idea, but poorly executed. It does seem like they would make it a bit more waterproof if it's made to be in the pool. Thanks for sharing your experience with this.. I'll be sure to avoid this product.
Wow - a pool accessory that is not waterproof...that's strange. The way you described the product it sounded really cool. Too bad it did not work. Thanks for the warning.
Wow, that is so odd. I have never heard of this but it would make me mad if a water product wasn't water proof lol. Sounds like a nice idea though, if it only worked =-) Thanks for the warning on this one.
That is too bad that the AquaGlow Underwater Light Show that you purchased did not work out well... It does sound like it would be cool, in theory... I am glad that you were able to get a full refund.
