Seriously, I don't usually wear dresses, but I was shopping at Lany Bryant because of the spring sales. I found a bunch of summer dresses on a rack in the back of the store. I learned a long time ago that the best sales are in the back of the store close to the cashier.
At this point, I want to mention that when I went through the door of the Lane Bryant store, one of the saleswomen was very helpful. In the last five years, I have gained several pounds because I have been on high dosages of prednisone. So I until now, I have not needed plus size clothes. It really helped to have someone pick clothes that would fit my chubby, not curvy, body.
Anyway, back to the rack, I picked out the U-neck tank dress on the summer dress sale rack. I was really impressed on how good I looked in the style. It fits right below my chest, and then flares to my knees. It is made of cotton and I can pick four different colors: black, royal blue, pink, green. I bought two: pink and royal blue.
The cloth is soft. The dress is comfortable. And, it looks great on me. If you don't like the sleeveless look, you can wear a small sweater. I love it. And better yet, the dress was on sale.

Boy, do I hear that with the prednisone. I never thought I'd be the size I am! I'm glad you found some comfortable dresses; I'm looking for jersey stretch pants, myself; something pull-on. Probably grandma clothes, but I just want to be comfortable! I can't always afford Lane Bryant, but sometimes the sales are great! Thanks for the link!

I know what you mean about that prednisone :0) It does have some undesirable side effects (weight gain, mood swings, moon face)...but I am still truely thankful it exists....it is a miricle drug for breathing issues. And, I too have recently discovered Lane Bryant...now that I'm off prednisone I'm hoping that I can drop some weight and loose my full moon face. But it's good to know that Lane Bryant is there if I can't.
I don't wear dresses often, but when i do i go to Lane Bryant's.
