Are you taboo??
By loveonce1 onAre you ready for a fun-filled evening full of guessing? Then you should play Taboo. It is great to play with friends or strangers. You and a partner try to guess the word on the card. The catch of the game is that the 5 most common words or phrases used to describe the game, can not be used. It doesn't sound that hard, but when you are being timed and trying to give out clues, your mind seems to go blank. I think it's more fun to play with someone that you know well, cause you can use specific instances to gues syour word, but with strangers, you have to go above and beyond. What words would you use to describe "ocean?" You can't use water, sand, beach or sharks. So what would you use while only having 30 seconds to keep guessing??? Don't worry, your guess is as good as mine.

I haven't played Taboo yet...we should do this one night.
Great game! We have a whole closet full of games, so you know we play alot.
My family and I love this game. Great description explaining how one plays the game. We have played many a game and have never become bored of it! This game goes with us when we go on our yearly summer trip to a lake cabin where we have many friends come visit! They too have enjoyed playing the game!
I have played this in a group. It's great if you have people who are pretty evenly matched with word skills. If you have just a few who don't do well with this they just end up feeling stupid. (I liked it, but know someone who went home just feeling dumber than ever)
This is a great mind game. Sounds like fun, I have never played it before.
I love Taboo, it has become a family tradition to play it at Christmas. Makes it very interesting when the family has had a few. We have so much fun. Thanks.
I agree wtih you-it's so much fun to play with someone you know well-my husband & I have so many hidden cues-people think we cheat!!
I love playing Taboo, but hate that danged buzzer! LOL! Thanks for sharing your experience with this product!
Hmmm.... I would say shovel, shells, lobster, clams, Plymouth, Bourne.... ;-)
This sound really interesting. The first thought that came to my mind was sailing. I agree, I would want to play with someone I know well. I will have to check this one out.
