Arizona Jeans Company Polo Shirt By Jessica Yamaguchi on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

My husband got one of these Arizona Jean Company Polo Shirts while we were shopping at Jc Penny's.

The shirt is made from 100% cotton it is white with grey, blue and red stripes that run horizontal across the shirt. The collar is white and the 2 buttons are an off white/light beige color.

The fabric is slightly stretchy - the sizes are kind of odd…my husband wears a size large normally but for this shirt he took an XX large and it was still pretty form fitting in some areas (across the chest & shoulders). After talking to the sales person we found out that the style was to wear the shirt TIGHT….so you look more buff! I laughed so hard! I have to admit that wearing the shirt TIGHT did make him look super Buff however my hubby got the XX large so that it fit more comfortably. He said it was to uncomfortable around the arms to wear it in his usual size large and tight as they suggest. (I guess he's buff enough?! LoL!) I should add that we don't really follow fashion or the current styles to well ...the sales guy could have been pulling our leg.we just can't explain how weird the sizes were on this particular shirt.

Now..I don't know what this means (if anything) but the description on this shirt says "Pique Polo" ...maybe thats telling the size/tight style??

Other than the odd sizing at first this is a pretty basic/classic polo style shirt and my hubby says it's comfortable (since he got a bigger size) and great for casual/dressier casual wear. The fabric is good quality/not to thin or flimsy feeling , it breathes well and my hubby looks great in it. Of course it goes well with jeans, slacks, and my hubby also has a pair of grey corduroy shorts that looks great with this shirt. It's pretty versatile. He's happy with it!

They did have a nice variety of colors in this style, most were stripes like this one with different color combinations (maybe stripes help you look more buff? lol!)

We got this at Jc Penny's; it is regularly priced at $26.00. We were lucky enough to catch it on sale for 70% off so we paid $7.79!

I find it hard to get a good deal on shirts. Most polo shirts are my style, but usually cost a bit more than that. You tend to find the 70% off a lot. I am lucky to see 40% off, lol. :)

I've noticed that tighter shirts does seem to be the trend in men's fashion. And also for teens, which sometimes makes it difficult to find shirts for a teen that's not into that look...
