Arm Hammer Ultra Max Anti Perspirant By twinwritermom on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

After my pregnancy, my hormones went berserk. I tried deodorant after deodorant and none of them seemed to last more than a couple of hours. My husband suggested that I try Arm & Hammer Ultramax Time Released Baking Soda Protection Anti-Perspirant. At this point, I was willing to try anything.

When I applied it, I noticed that the smell was a little strong and although the deodorant was marketed as an invisible solid, I found that to be far from the case. The Arm and Hammer Ultramax was heavy and it felt really greasy under my arms.

The active ingredient in the Arm & Hammer Ultramax Time Release Baking Soda Protection Deodorant was something called, Aluminum Zirconium Tetrachlorohydrex .

The product wasn't a total wash. It did offer superior wetness and odor protection, which is always a good thing.

Overall, the Arm & Hammer Ultramax Deodorant is not a product that I would choose to purchase again.
