Arrid actually does keep you cool
By Dave onI've tried Speed Stick solid. I've tried Axe gel. I find I'm always drawn back to Arrid, though. I use Arrid XX Extra Extra Dry and have found that it always gives me protection throughout the day. The solid they oroduce is not very flaky and does not seem to leave a mess.
My only complaint is that it is meant to be unscented, but it does have a scent to it. In fact, the scent smells something like the sterile chemical smell of a medical hospital. However, it's not a strong smell and it doesn't stick around long after application.
While there are better smells out there, the unscented version of this deodorantt isn't meant to be one you take out to the clubs to impress the ladies. It's more for the office worker who wants to go through the day happily without sweat.
The deodorant does last for a good while, so unless you have a B.O. problem or a sweat problem one application will last for a long time. I've found sometimes I need to apply more than once if I'm working outside or exercising, but those activities naturally cause sweat. I'm not sure if there are products for those issues and of course in those situations I just need a shower afterward anyway.
Arrid is made by Church & Dwight Co., an American company that also owns Arm & Hammer.

Personnally I prefer a good perfume scent, and a deo unscented... (V)
Arrid is a great deodorant! My husband won't use anything else. It's perfect for those who do not want an overbearing scent.
This is the only brand of deodorant my husband uses, but he used the spray. He has sensitive skin and this is the only one he has tried that doesn't make him itch & burn. Gotta love Arrid!
I didn't realize that people used deodorants to attract others at clubs! I think this one sounds great except for the scent of a hospital. That would keep me from using this!
I have not tried rrid in years, I'm stuck on Dove rght now but my husband needs something stronger. I think I will give this a try for him.
I should have my husband give this one a try. He can't seem to find one that he likes.
Thanks for that detail info, I prefer the unscented type too. Quite an affordable price.
I tend to purchase powder fresh scented deodorant, but agree that Arrid XX dry is an excellent deodorant.
Sounds like a great deodorant. I'll have to buy some for my husband the next time I go shopping.
