For kids over three years old, art students and adults alike this is one awesome product. It's a well kept secret that Coldwater Creek the clothing store also offers a variety of gift items. I was thrilled to find art pencils and water colors in a black canvas zip-around tote with handles. Perfect for taking along on a trip or a visit to grandma since the canvas is easily cleaned with running water over it and hanging up to dry. I love the portability and organization of it - one zip and it is all packed away neatly. Students will love it because the black canvas handles are practical for carrying and the set will always look chic and attractive.
Let me tell you this little treasure chest contains 8 fine tip markers, 8 medium tip markers, 24 color pencils, 24 watercolors with mixing containers, 2 drawing pencils, 2 natural bristle paint brushes and one each pencil eraser, sandpaper and sharpener. I love art supplies. I could bask all day in the colors and shapes of the art supply store. This would make a great gift for a young artist. (Or any artist, really. Who wouldn't love to get one of these?)

angelwings I have seen similar sets in Germany at over double the price. I ordered it on-line for my little niece, she is ten and I know both her Mom and her will have a lot of fun with this. I waited 'til Coldwater Creek had their annual clearance and ordered it at 50% off - so I got it for $25:) Coldwater Creek only ships in the US - possibly Canada. I could kick myself for not ordering two and the smaller set too. They seem to have more gift items and in particular this art set around the holidays. So you might consider it for next Christmas or buy it in Jan on clearance if they have any left.
