These shoes are great and one of the best for running races in. I've had these shoes for quite a while now and they have never let me down. I have had them for almost a year now, use them around 2 - 3 times a week and they have not shown any wear and tear so far. They are a great investment. For the normal casual run Asics are the best and can't get a better shoe, that's why the Asics Hyper LD is a great for a real racing. The shoes are very comfortable and extremely durable and spikes are still as sharp as they were when I bought them and the shoes are very stylish. The look great and I would say a great intimidator to my competitors. The cushioning in the shoe is great for the heals and also gives no blisters not like other shoes and that's a great feature for me.
