Assassin's Creed By Foolman By foolman on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Assassin's Creed is one of the most anticipated titles of the holiday season. It has had its ups and downs before release. The hyped up E3 trailer and the glitchy E3 presentation. How does this title stack up, nowt hat it has been released?

Assassin's Creed is a very good looking game. Howevre, the PS3 version of the game doesn not run as well as it should. It has a less than satisfactory frame rate. The Xbox360 version of the game has a few pauses in the action, but most of it can be forgiven because of a recent patch to improve the framerate.

The story is not what the trailers make it appear to be. It is a very complex Matrix like plot, and it would be a shame to ruin it for anyoen that reads the review. Even so, if you like history, you will love the history portion of the swtory, and if that isn't your thing, you will still love the other portion of the story.

The game plays like a stealth game. You sneak around town to assassinate your target and then sneak back out. However, the formula never changes and can get stale.
