Asthma Inhalator
By Cyn Bagley onWhen I was having troubles breathing because my vasculitis disease was getting worse, my doctors gave me an inhalator. Although it helped a little, it wasn't until my doctors changed it to a Flovent inhalator that I started to breathe much better. It hurts quite a lot when your lungs kind of seize up and you start gasping. The Flovent helped instantly. Now prior to my disease, I have never used asthmatic products even though it would hurt to breathe after I ran a mile and a half for U.S. Navy Physical training test. The Flovent inhalator would sure have helped in those days.
Now days, I don't need the inhalator as much because my disease is under control (not entirely under remission because I have to take prednisone and other medications for it).
But, when I was having the hardest time with my breathing, when I was gasping, and when I thought I couldn't breathe any more, flovent helped me to overcome my symptoms. No, I couldn't run right afterwards, but I could breath. I felt better. This is a good medication.

My son Cam was given FloVent because his asthma was getting severe. It worked very quickly, and he experienced much less of the rapid pulse/shakes side effects we'd witnessed with other meds.
Hi Lexxia and froggy... Flovent is great. ;-)
my father has asthma too. he always has his spray handy
I use something similar when my asthma is kicking up, and also used it (and am still using it) with the myocarditis, because it seems to ease the chest pain and pressure. Glad this works for you!
Thanks DarthLindy... I realized after I published it that I added a few syllables to inhaler. LOL
Flovent is a great medication. Unfortunately for us, both my son and me need a little more help so we have to take Advair (which has Flovent plus a long acting dialator). I'm glad it helps you.
