At First Sight! Great Book! By allie63078 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I just finished reading At First Sight, by Nicholas Sparks. This book is the sequel to True Believer and in my opinion better than the first book, however, I definitely needed to read them both in order to fully appreciate all that these two books had to offer. The first book left off with Jeremy, the columnist who came to the small town of Boone Creek, NC to write an article debunking the myth of ghosts in the cemetery, having moved to Boone Creek to be with Lexi, the librarian he fell in love with while he was there. It also leaves you off with the knowledge that they are pregnant together and are planning on getting married. However, this books not only tells the story of them and their plans for marriage and a life together with their new baby, but it also goes through all the trials they face along the way and have some surprising twists that in the end are very unforgettable. I love the way that the book goes more into the characters and personality of both Jeremy and Lexi and some of the things they have to go through in this book are not only funny, but some are also heartbreaking and I can guarantee you'll need a tissue to get you through it.
