At T Trimline Phone W Caller Id By FrankV on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

I bought this corded At & T phone for my business. I needed a phone that had caller ID and call waiting features. This one does but one of my biggest complaints is that the display panel brightness is terrible. You can barely see it even if you set it to the highest contrast. My other complaint is the placement of the control buttons on the handset. When you usually hold a phone or rest it on your shoulder, the outside of the phone is a solid piece. But doing this with this phone will possibly push the control buttons on the outside of the handset. This is especially frustrating for me. I have lost a few customers this way. The caller ID feature runs by battery. So better have some extra batteries on hand so that you can use that feature on a consistant basis. I would not buy this product again.

Looks like such a neat phone. Thanks for the heads up. I am a little surprised that AT &T would not have a great design for their phones. Thanks

I'm so surprised that you have to have batteries to use the caller ID! I'm so sorry about all of your hassles with your phone.

I do not like AT & T anything. I just seem to have all kinds of problems with their merchandise and services. Thanks for sharing this information.
