ATARI 2600 AN 80S CLASSIC CONSOLE

What can be said about this timeless classic. Few months ago I posted a few pictures to my facebook accountof my console rebought of course I had one years ago as well. Well anyhow I had many comments like that's a cool console thats old school , Awesome classic etc.Granted this doesn't have allthe cool specs of today's consoles and gaming pcs ,however it has ageless and timeless classic hits such as pac-man, asteroids, donkey kong, frogger and many ,many more. I grew up on this thing I remember coming home from school getting my homework done and then it was the atari 2600 , Sometimes rushing through assignments even lying to my mom about getting some done when I didn't just so I could play this thing. Out of all the gaming consoles this one holds a special place in my heart cause of growing up on it and with it. I remember spending quite a few hours on the different titles such as Taz, Fire Fighter. So many companies made games back then the funny part about the atari is the cartridges and booklets on them the artwork looked ten times better then the graphics on the screen did but that none the less didn't stop it from being an awesome console with just as fun games as the xbox 360, ps3 and wii has today. I still love the atari I recommended finding one to all gamers even this gen. its awesome and one thing you can't deny is its durability these things were built to last the model i found off ebay came with a nice large lot of games a bonus when finding them that way .one downside was the tv switch box but you can avoid them by buying a female to rf adapter you find them all over ebay, amazon and they make it easier to hook directly on to today's cable ready tvs including the lcd tvs so you can relive the 80s. If you collect video game consoles as I do you will not want to be without this classic mine is the 4 switch model they look goodnice wood trim on the side etc they were pretty stylish back then as they are today too . this thing has probably i guessimate almost 1,000s of titles It was never lacking in the gaming department nor peripharals as it has paddle controllers, trackball, the numeric pad things like the intellivision and colecovisions had. I say don't laugh at it give it a test I bet you'll love it if you already have one and have had one over the years you can respect and agree with what I am saying as it being a timeless classic and with titles people will remember and identify with years to come . If you're a new gamer , like with me as a metalhead you can't forget your roots gaming and what got it to where it is todaywithout the graphics of the atari 2600 there would be no realistic 3d enviroments in games today .
