I have this idea, that guys don't get very excited when it comes to buying socks, for themselves. I can't ever remember, flying out the front door, hopping into my car and speeding off to a store, with socks running through my head. Socks and mens' underwear both fall into "bump into" categories, while I am shopping for something else.

And so it was, I found myself roaming the aisles of the department store, in search of my missing wife. Along the way, I became side tracked in menswear. I turned a corner to find, a display of socks, and jockey shorts. Not what I was looking for, yet exactly what I needed.

I bought a pack of six athletic, crew socks, by adidas. They pull up my ankles and stay in place. This must be the rib-knit cuffs. These socks are a blend of cotton, polyester and spandex for stretch support around the lower leg. Most importantly, these crew socks are comfortable and breath. This means my feet do not begin to sweet. I hate smelly feet, at the end of the day.

Over all, I am pleased with my new socks. Now I have to sort through my sock drawer and weed out all the ones that have holes in them.
