Att E2725 Cordless Phone By Aristomommy on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

We purchased the AT&T E2725 cordless phone and 2 extra handsets with chargers last March. The initial price includes a phone with answering machine base and one extra handset with a charger. Only the main base with answering machine requires a phone jack, others just need to be plugged in. This makes it very convenient to find a suitable location. I also liked that this phone has a screen for caller id and for a phone directory. I was actually very pleased with this phone for about 4 months.

Initially the phone held its charge very well, but now after less than a year, a 15 minute conversation will drain the battery. It will suddenly cut off without warning, or it may not let you answer the phone at all. After calling customer service, no help has been offered to us. We are now looking into buying a new phone. I felt this phone was a waste of money, as it should have held up longer than it did.
