Attack Of The Roosters!!! By Geralyn Hydock on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

While surfing on ebay one day, I came upon this beautiful rooster and roses dinnerware. The pattern is of a brightly colored rooster with maroon, pink roses on them. Each peach is edged with a yellow band that has light brown lines going up and down. I fell in love with the pattern immediately and now my kitchen has been taken over by roosters.

This ceramic dinnerware comes from the United China and Glass Company. It was produced from the late 1940's until 1961. There area myriad of pieces to the set. You can purchase things such as a ceramic boot (very rare,) butter dish, planters, egg dishes, cannisters, spice racks, spoon rests, and so much more. The list goes on an on. Many of the pieces are rare as few were made or have survived over time. I have over one hundred pieces to my collection which is worth a few thousand dollars.

If you love roosters and roses then this dinnerware is for you. One needs to look this pattern up on the internet and see how beautiful they truly are. I love my pieces that I have out in my kitchen but many are still packed away awaiting their display in my new home when we retire from the Army.

My MIL would love these . She has so many rooster items in her kitchen. These might make the perfect gift idea for her. Thanks for the tip!

I'm going straight to eBay to see if I can find out what your Roosters and Roses dishes look like!
