I really like this Aurora shredder. I use it our home office and it's serving its purpose quite well. The design of this shredder is attractive and simple and it is easy to use. If the basket is too small for the shredding job you're doing, an attached extension on the side of the shredder just pulls out, and you can just place the shredder over the larger basket ... I find the 13 gal. kitchen-size wastebasket works great. If you use it primarily for CDs, bills, unwanted credit cards, checks, bank statements and confidential papers ... it's perfect. This is a super light duty shredder. It's a strip shredder that cuts paper into strips less than 1 cm wide, so it is pretty safe to guard against ID theft.

For the size and price, it does a fantastic job. It shreds everything from statements to thick postcard-like junk mail. This unit comes with a CD and credit card shredder. It is fast, easy, quiet and good for home use. Highly recommended!
