Austin Powers In Goldmember By shulockabaulugy on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

"Goldmember" is a successful rehash of what worked in the first two "Austin Powers" movies. Mike Myers broadens the slapstick even more this time around. Everything from rap videos to truck drivers is prime to be targeted. And "Goldmember" is the type of movie that will do anything for a laugh, throwing a LOT of jokes your way. If your sense of humor doesn't catch them all, that's groovy, baby. Because you probably laughed at a lot of the other ones. The plot is just a stage for comedy skits, but basically it's about Austin trying to rescue his father (Michael Caine) from Goldmember (Myers again) so he can stop Dr. Evil (still my favorite character) from lauching Operation Preparation-H (yes, it's funny). "Goldmember" has its moments of belly laughs, and I'm sure everyone will have a favorite scene.
