Australia Dvd By eszbonna on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

My dad and I are HUGE movie fans. We go out every weekend and search for a new and interesting movie. This weekend we bought "Australia" with Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman.

Presented by 20th Century Fox and directed by Baz Luhrmann.

It is a story that is more romantic tha it is action and adventure.

An English woman (who has quite an air about her) goes to Australia where she meets some interesting characters including an Aboriginal boy and a cattle driver named "Driver".

She takes over her recently deceased husbands cattle farm. Then, when she learns a horrible truth about the people who work there, she starts off on a race with her husbands cattle farm's biggest competitor to get their cattle on the navy sea boat (to assist the troops in WWII after Pearl Harbour). They encounter many troubles and obsticles, will they make it?

Overall, it was a fair movie, but in my opinion and genre tastes, it was not worth the twelve ninety-nine. However, it is worth watching again.
