MY EXPERIENCE
I have used this antivirus since 2 years ago, and since that i never formating my computer again. Thanks to Avast. FYI i have used all many Antivirus software but i think this is the best software i have ever used and known. Think Antivirus, Think Avast.

3. Many feature.
4. Easy to install and operate.
5. Very Friendly to many people even Novice.
WEAKNESS
Only one there is no firewall protection, both to Avast Home and Professional Edition.

Glad you've had success with this program. While on my husband's machine it seemed to work well until he installed a different one in its place and the new one located two viruses that AVG had somehow missed - my hubby almost had a fit - it was actually funny to watch :) but while he was using it he said he liked it too. Thanks for the info.
I currently use Avira, but I have generally heard good things about Avast. Thanks for the review; I may test it in the future.

Good review. We've used Avast for many many years. And even though it does not have a firewall - that is not really a weakness. Word is, they are working on integrating a Firewall soon. Most computers already have a firewall and Avast is a daily scanning, effective and reliable free software that does a very excellent job against trojans and viruses. I can't begin to tell you how many of my friends have been infected with junk, while my computer has never had one. This is the only Anti-Virus we use. You can also purchase a stronger edition for businesses that need different types of protection.
