Aveda is known for high quality botanically based based products. I have also reviewed the conditioner and the exfoliating shampoo. This is the daily shampoo offering in this product line. The ingredients listed include: Babassu, tamanu, seaweed, sage extract, spearmint oil, plai and licorice. This shampoo and the entire line of product were developed to clean the hair and scalp of a man's thicker scalp.

I was very pleased with how this shampoo cleaned and left my hair. The fragrence is earthy, yet not too strong.

That being said, I prefer the scalp benefits shampoo for daily use. It's less expensive and I think I get a cleaner feeling.
