This is my absolutely favorite Aveda product.This was recommended to help with my itchy and dry scalp.it was amazing, within about three days I could tell a difference.After about ten days, the itchy scalp was completely resolved.I use this with matching conditioner.This is good for all types of hair or the good & bad hair days.
I buy Aveda for three reasons 1) makes my hair look & smell good 2) all natural ingredients 3) complements from others.
Aveda's all natural ingredients in this product include:Babassu, Burdock root, Echinacea, Sage leaf,Seabuckthorn oil, Vetiver.
This is a daily use shampoo.At $12/bottle it is still expensive, but not as unpleasant as other Aveda products.

it is a tad expensive, but it sounds like it's worth it!
I love Aveda products and they can be expensive. But I think they are worth it. Plus the company seems to be responsible and aware of ecological and humaritarian issues.
I think the Aveda salons are also better trained than most salons. Maybe it is just perception
