Aveeno Baby Sunblock SPF 55

Over the past few weeks my husband and I have been taking our daughter out walking in the evenings. Since she is only 6 months old I worried about finding a safe sunblock for her. About a month ago I received a sample of the Aveeno Baby sunblock in the mail. We took it along during a stroll through Gatlinburg and it worked great. I decided to purchase this one once the sample ran out.

I looked on the back of the tube and it says it is safe for children 6 months and up. Like most products it says to contact the child's doctor if they are under 6 months old.

I have used it a few times now and it is very easy to put on. It is not too thick and just takes a few seconds to rub in. It did not irritate her skin at all or make her feel greasy. I worried that a sunscreen would run into her eyes but this one did not. It is also fragrance free and waterproof!

This sunblock is SPF 55 and is made with natural colloidal oatmeal. It states on the tube that it is as mild as water. I have heard some great things about Aveeno products and I was thrilled to have a great sunblock for my daughter. I feel a lot better now knowing she is better protected from the sun.

It comes in a 4 ounce tube and can be found in most stores for under $10. I always keep mine in my diaper bag.

I would recommend this to all moms of babies or toddlers, or even for themselves. I know a lot of women that use this sunscreen because they have sensitive skin.
