Because my daughter has severe eczema, we have searched for a mild body wash for her since her birth, five years ago.

With its reputation for mildness and bringing relief to irritated skin, we naturally gravitated towards Aveeno brand products.

When I first tried Aveeno Baby Wash and Shampoo, I was apprehensive at the fact that it has a "light fragrance". Any fragrance is typically an issue with my daughter's ultra sensitive skin, and the same proved to be true in this case.

Aveeno Baby Wash and Shampoo lathered well, cleansed well, and was easy to rinse completely. Unfortunately, that light scent was enough to linger for the remainder of the day of washing, and caused excessive itching and dryness for my daughter. In spite of its claims of mildness, it just wasn't mild enough for someone with eczema.

I also tried this product on my son, who, although he does not have eczema, does have sensitive skin. For him, the fragrance was not a problem, and did not cause irritation or itching. The formula cleaned without leaving a residue, and had a light fragrance that did not overwhelm.

For children with sensitive skin, but no further skin conditions, I would definitely recommend this product.
