Avent Isis On the Go manual breast pump

The Avent Isis "On the Go" set includes a manual breastpump, two four-ounce bottles, two nine-ounce bottles, two cool packs, and a sturdy nylon carrying case.This is the best manual breastpump I have used.Many breastfeeding mothers on several forums to which I belong hold the same sentiment.The pumping mechanism is gentle and easy to use and does not tire your hand like some other models do.The bottles are big enough to hold entire pumping sessions (unlike other models that provide 6-ounce bottles).There is a silicon piece that fits over the funnel and increases the comfort of the unit, while aiding with letdown.

My main complaint is that the unit is a bit difficult to clean.There are several parts that must be disassembled.These parts can also be a bit confusing to assemble the first few times you need to, and if you do it incorrectly you don't get adequate suction).

Many people use a manual pump only on occasion.I, however, found this pump so easy to use that I used it three times daily for months when I went back to work.I highly recommend this breastpump!
