average mower

I bought a Murray 4.5 Horse Power Mower from Home Depot about two years ago.It has 20 inch blade and a mulching feature with accompanying bag. I have a small lawn and it replaced a similar lawn mower. Though a simple machine it has had reliability problems like losing parts and is very average on cutting the lawn performance. My previous one was a little higher cost and was self propelled which I would suggest was worth the money. You may want to also look for a 22 inch blade to reduce your workload. The feature I am glad I have is the mulching and bag. I only mow every 2-3 weeks and I have to empty the bag once but it saves raking up the trimmings.If you have a small lawn ~ .2 acres I suggest a 150-250 lawn mower should be more than adequate and consider all brands but do suggest consider self propelled, mulching bag, and 22 inch blade.overall, I very avaerge maching at a resonable price for a small usage lawn mower.
