I have been using Avery Marks-A-Lot Permanent Markers for quite some time, and I really like them. They are great for writing on labels, boxes and anything where you want bold writing that will stand out. They come in different colors, though I find myself using black the most.
There is a caution with these markers: they are an irritant to the eye. But they are also non-toxic, and I have found that one marker seems to last for quite a while. The yellow markers are great for highlighting items in reading material. These markers do have a strong smell, but that is the only downside I can think of.
Avery Markers are easy to hold and to use. Remember to put the cap on tightly when you are through using one. The cap will make a snapping sound when it is completely on.
I have used other Avery products as well as their markers, and I do like this company. Their products seem to be of good quality and have given me good service over the years. These markers are no exception.
