I had too many threats and viruses slowing my computer down that it came to the point where I thought, maybe I need a new computer. No matter how hard I tried to remove the viruses and threats they just kept on coming back.. I tried almost every single anti-virus software that could possibly work, but they didn't. So one day I took my computer to a computer mechanic and he had told me to download AVG. After downloading AVG I had already seen a huge improvement in my computer's performance.
I hardly have to wait to get my computer going. It has created a good, fast computer that I am very proud to have. AVG updates automatically so you never have to do it for yourself. I never needed customer support because it always works well. It is also free and can be downloaded from it's website: www.AVG.com. The only unavailable feature in the free version is the shield. But surely you will hardly need that. Whenever your computer is slowing down, just try it once and you'll like it forever!

Our entire family of computer 'geeks' use to use this program but when our network ended up infected and AVG failed to catch the problem despite all of the systems having completely up to date virus databases...we switched to Avast Home 4.8. I found during the last while we used AVG that they weren't updating the virus db nearly as often...Avast on the other hand updates 2-3 times per day and so far it's working perfectly. AVG use to be that way but for some reason we just found it started falling down on the job. Good that it works well for you however. Hope it continues to do as it should and keep you virus free.
I've been using this program for a few years now and it does work great. Best of all it's FREE!
We need to use whats out there to protect our computers.

You have to hunt the web site carefully to be sure you really are getting the free one, but I've been REALLY happy with this. Norton was a dog.
My husband and I use AVG and really like it.
AVG has always worked for us and my husband repairs a LOT of computers. But it's only as good as you updating it. Viruses and malware come out every single day. Some malware out right now isn't caught by many programs, but at least make sure to update your software and hopefully any issues will be caught. We also use Avast, which is very thorough.
