Avg Antivirus By coxmaster on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

Computer safety is very important to me. Having a good Anti-Virus scanner program makes me feel safer online, and it also keeps my computer running much smoother. I have tried many of the commercial Virus Scan programs, such as Mcafee and Norton, but they all have low detection rates. These commercial scanners are also very system intense, and cause the computer to run slower than it should. I have also tried many of the free virus scan programs. I have liked all of the free virus scan programs, because they are easier to use, have much higher detection rate, are less system intensive, and are free. I chose AVG out of all the free virus scans because it seems to be the least system intense, but yet has one of the highest detection rates. AVG is well worth the time it takes to install
