Avilon Zoo presents wildlife nature
By Crissy Taruc onIt has been 3 years now since we went in Avilon Zoo. We were more than 20 in the group and the entrance fee was around 200 to 250 pesos each. We decided to bring food for our lunch that time and in the canteen area there was this souvenir booth. The place was really neat and the entrance was filled with beautiful landscapes and a lanai. The huge placed was housed with different species of animals and truly you will be amazed on their collections from smallest to biggest animals. There were snakes, crocodiles, birds, monkeys and a lot more. The kids truly enjoyed the trip because they were able to see those animals up close and personal.
During our trip, there was this tour guide scheduled every 2 hours to assist by groupings their plenty of visitors. Aside from the information about the animals, they were guiding the visitors so as not to get lost because the place was really big and you need a lot of walking to do, ups and downs, to be able to visit thousands of species there. There were places wherein they gave a short show for visitors to see some presentation from the animals and the visitors may touch them too and take pictures with them. There are rest rooms scattered in the area.
The zoo was not mainly promotes care and conservation of wildlife but nature as well. Nowadays, schools from different locations include Avilon Zoo as one of the places they will visit during their educational field trips.

This is a beautiful zoo! Your images are so colorful, I wish I could come visit:) Zoos are great educational places for children, helping to increase their understanding of each species importance to our planet.
Looks like a beautiful place to learn about wildlife and nature. I like the photo with the owl.
great for students to visit.. filled with plants and animals..
I visited Avilon Zoo December last year and the place is good to educate children and remind adults as well to respect animals and nature. Animals are well maintained. They are expanding because there are some construction works on one area last year. I'm planning to visit it again.
