Avira GMBH is very well known company that offers security solutions to various people such as Home users, small business and corporate people. Avira security products are very good and they provide solid protection. Their most popular product is Avira free antivirus. Till last year Avira free antivirus only provided protection against viruses so there is strong need to use a separate antispyware product. Their latest version also provides spyware protection. Why I am mentioning this is to show how much they are dedicated to serve people and protect them. The product I am going to review is Avira Premium Security. This is intermediate staged product i.e. the features of this are greater than free version and lower than Security suite. It donot have a firewall. So we have to use another firewall. This is not a big issue because there several free firewalls which perform better than paid ones such as Comodo firewall etc. The only thing that I hate about Avira is the huge size of their updates. The updates of Avira are large. They range from several kb's and go upto 20 to 30 mb. This is depends on the frequency of updates. For users using slow internet this can become a serious issue. Apart from this, Premium security provides awesome protection against all types of malware and protects you online too. This is one good product.
