Avon A New Dermabrasion System By Momof2Disneyboys on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I had heard about these home Dermabrasion systems and wondered what it was all about. So one day while looking online at www.avon.com I came across this Avon ANew Clinical Advanced Dermabrasion System. A Dermabrasion is supposed to soften the skin, even out skin tone, erase fine lines, close your pores, and so on.

Being that I am starting to notice fine lines on the sides of my mouth I wanted to try something like this. The price is $28.00 for a 2.8 ounce tube. A little steep I thought. So I checked for specials from time to time. One day they had a special of - buy the Dermabrasion and get a moisturizer of the same value for only $5.00. So I decided to give it a try.

The Dermabrasion System is a 4 level system. The tube has a dial at the end and you just turn it to the level you want. You are supposed to use each level 2-3 times a week for 2 weeks, and then proceed to the next level. I have currently been using it for 6 weeks and have just finished with level 3. I will start the final level tomorrow.

From the very beginning I noticed my skin being much smoother and softer. It really feels great right after using it. I'd say my skin tone has evened out a little since using it. And my pores a a little smaller. As far as the fine lines, I haven't really noticed much change. I'm hopeful for a more noticable change, but not sure if that is going to happen.

I will probably use this product in the future. Especially if I can get it on sale!

I've always loved the anew line. I'm using the Neutrogena dermabrasion system right now, which has vastly improved my skin texture. I should try this next for a comparison since I already know I like Avon products.

Now as we age, there are things we can't and should not change. You smile to much! WW-V:)

I'm sorry that it has not helped with the lines. It's so frustrating when a product does not do what we are expecting...hope you find one that works

I love many of the Avon products, especially in the Anew line. I've not tried this dermabrasion kit, but I will, because if it really brightens and tones the skin it's worth it.

Good information. I didn't realize that it was a 'step' system.

It never clued into me that Avon had a website. I will be looking at that shortly thanks

I have never used a dermabrasion system before because I doubted they would work, but now I may give this one a try.

While this product may not do what it claims, reduce lines, it still sounds like you're getting good use out of it.

The Anew line has always had great products and this one is right on target. Thanks for sharing your experience.
