Avon Care Deeply Hand Cream with Cocoa Butter

Avon promises an extra boost from Cocoa Butter and Natural Skin Conditioners.
It doesn't matter where you work or what you do - everyone has dry hands from time to time. The best solution for skin moisturizing is from the inside out: stay well hydrated and stop doing whatever it is that's drying out your skin. Unfortunately, most of us can't stop washing dishes, or doing the constant handwashing that occupations like nursing require.
The stopgap option for healing dry skin is moisturizer. Avon Basics Care Deeply Hand Cream with Cocoa Butter steps up to the plate nicely. It's an opaque white cream, with a pleasant, slightly spicy fragrance that isn't strong or overpowering. The scent itself isn't reminiscent of cocoa butter, but it also isn't sweet, or fruity, or perfumey, which is a huge plus in my book.
Avon Care Deeply Hand Cream absorbs quickly into the skin and leaves no greasy residue. This is particularly important to me as I don't want to leave greasy marks on things I touch after I apply hand lotion. Care Deeply absorbs so thoroughly that your skin feels soft and you can go right back to whatever you were doing without having to worry about greasy residue.
The ratings: Its not fragrance free, so it gets a 1 in that category. If you arent sensitive or allergic to scents, its a moot point. Avon does claim that Care Deeply Hand Cream is allergy-tested. As a skin softener, I rate it 4.5. There are other, oily lotions that will soften skin more, but I find the greasy tradeoff not worthwhile. It gets a 5 for moisturizing, and the ingredients 4.5 for the non-scientific reason of having a few ingredients I cant pronouce.
The bottom line: Avon Care Deeply Hand Cream with Cocoa Butter satisfies my main requirements for a hand lotion: it must absorb quickly, soften my hands without leaving a greasy residue, and have a light, pleasant fragrance. Highly recommended.
