Avon : Silicone Glove Lotion

For Christmas a friend of mine who sells Avon gave me a bottle of Avon Basics Silicone Glove hand cream. At first I thought is was going to be a great product, as my hands are always dry. The package makes claims that the cream last all day, even after washing your hands. I didn't think that part would be true, but I did have hopes that it would be a long lasting cream. Silicone Glove smells just like baby power, which isn't a bad scent at all. The cream appears rich, and thick in texture as you squeeze it from the tube, which is a good sign. But then you start to run it on your hands. It only takes a second to rub the cream in, and then your hands are left smelling good, but very dry. I tried using this product several times, with the same result. I then gave it to my daughter who also said it made her hands feel dry. I'm not sure how much it cost, but I have found products for less them a dollar that worked better. I don't know what Silicone Glove protects your hands from, but it sure isn't dry skin.
