The first thing I noticed about this brand were the recent addition of many colors to the brand. In the past, Avon has had a very limited color pallete. A favorite is the brilliant browns quad with bronze and a lilac to highlight the brow. The eyeshadow will last a few hours at best, and I find myself having to apply more often than other brands.

The fragrance is enjoyable, although who really smells their eyeshadow? It comes in interesting groups of color that are well matched, and suitable for many skin tones. The applicator that comes with is generally standard, I find that your own brushes do a more complete look.

The packaging is unique, a sparkly blue but with one feature unlike any other product that I use. We have all fumbled with the latches and clasps and openings of other eye makeup brands, but Avon has fixed this, in the way of a push in opening to release the top of the eye-shadow. This is innovative, and a favorite aspect of the packaging.
