AX360, True Digital 5.1 Headphones.

The Tritton AX360 headphones are one of the first 5.1 headphones to come complete with a digital decoder. So you can use them directly with DD5.1 devices like your Xbox 360 or DVD player. The headphones are THX and Dolby certified, and provide great crystal clear sound. The decoder offers all the standard features along with some more advanced ones, like delay per channel and dynamic audio compression. The headphones are comfortable, and even come with a microphone for online gaming, that works with most setups, and even the Xbox 360. The only complaint i have is with the in-line volume control, the main volume control is on the decoder, but there is an in-line one that allows you to manipulate volume by channel. This is a good idea, but i find myself wishing it wasn't there, as getting the same amount of sound out of all the channels is a bit of a challenge, and requires some fine tuning and frequent checking to insure the nobs have not moved. Overall though, the AX360 is fantastic, providing some of the best surround sound headphones available, along with a microphone for voice communication, all in a neat functional and attractive package.
