Babe Dvd Review By uaezarb on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

The movie Babe is rated G and is 82 minutes long. I loved this movie, and so did my 3 yr. old grandson. I loved all the voices of the animals in this movie, they fit perfectly. They used computer animation to make the animals mouth's move in sync with the voices. I love the fact that they made this story with real animals, when it could have just been an animated movie, makes it more enjoyable to watch as an adult and also a kid. The story is about a pig named Babe that is won at a fair by a farmer named Hoggett (played by James Cromwell). At first he is frightened and lonely, but a mother collie who has just had a litter of puppies brings Babe into her family and soon Babe meets lots of other animals on the farm that become his friends, and he learns all about farm life. He ends up helping his owner in a very unusual way for a pig. This is one of the cutest films I have ever seen, it's a lot like Charlotte's Web and I have always liked that story.
