Babel Movie
By DeDee onThis movie is for sure a Sunday flick. It has two great actors in it Brad Pitt and Cate Blancett. Also My daughter tried out for the girl "Debbie " in this movie years ago. Only her height was off that was the only reason she didn't get the part.
So when I saw this movie int he store I bought it as I was curious to see the movie that our daughter tried out for. Therefore also thinking it would be a movie she could watch with us.
I was sooooo wrong. There was a girl in this movie that seem to have longed for love and she used her body to try and get just that. Even though it never worked. This girl was showing her private parts to boys in a mall. Wearing a shirt with nothing on. Yes she showed it all. Right then and there our daughter was asked to leave the room and to watch another movie in her room.
My husband and I finished watching the movie. It was long and boring. I won't give it away just that it was about some children how shot Kate and they didn't realize they hurt anyone as they didn't mean to hurt anyone.
The music that was played in this movie was enough to put you alseep as well.
actually Babel is a very, very good movie that is difficult to watch at times. It had a great story about interconnectedness in the world no matter how far apart people seem to think they are. Like who owned the gun that shot Cate, and how it got there, and the connection with the lonely deaf girl. I had to watch it twice to make sure I caught everything.
